What stage is the company at?
Drive Management Services Ltd has been established for four years. We moved into Sheffield Technology Parks in September 2005. Since then we have doubled in size and tripled our turnover.
Why did you choose Sheffield Technology Parks as the location for your business?
We wanted to take advantage of the managed offices. Having the Sheffield Technology Parks reception facilities has allowed us to appear bigger than we actually are and helps open doors to work with bigger companies.
How have Sheffield Technology Parks helped you?
Drive Management Services Ltd has acquiring a new business, Oil Management Services through the Sheffield Technology Parks High Growth Start Up programme.
Sheffield Technology Parks funding has help us pay for legal fees, marketing and web development for this new branch of the business.
We have also received Objective 1 funded mentoring from Sheffield Technology Parks Business Advisor, Adrian Jackman-Smith. This provided us with the opportunity to present to the Canadian embassy and we have since developed links with technology companies in Canada. It would cost far too much to develop these links on our own.
We also take advantage of Sheffield Technology Parks’ networking events and are looking forward to working with another occupier, the VEN group, in the future.
Sheffield Technology Parks has enabled us to grow Drive Management Services Ltd much quicker than we would be able to on our own.
